The way I photograph and the reasons why I am photographing are connected.

I want to know your story, so I can creatively capture it through my lens. I am inspired by emotions, and the connections between people and their loved ones. Thus, my style of photography is very genuine, candid and emotive.

I've always wanted to learn photographing in film. This medium reminds me of old photographs and going through family albums. Unlike digital, film was not made to accurately represent what the retina sees;

I love the subtle imperfections, the aesthetic of light leaks or when some photos turn out a little blurry — so long as the feelings are in focus.

Although I primarily shoot with digital gear, I do emulate the raw, grainy aesthetic of film in my images. I believe that this emphasizes the story-telling and emotive style in my work, and offers a sense of nostalgia.

I have a passion for photographing lifestyle portraits for individuals, couples and families, and my heart gravitates towards photographing weddings, elopements and the empowering experiences of childbirth.

I am a mommy of three beautiful babes (this year they'll be 12, 8 and 1!) and I love spending time with my family. The biggest goals I've set for myself this year, are to live more intentionally, take more family trips, and to continue aligning all that I love with all that I do to keep myself and my art authentic.
